Andres, a native of Asuncion, has lived in Paraguay, Spain, and Argentina. His passion for filmmaking blossomed early, driving him to pursue a career in the industry. He began his formal education in Digital Media at the Da Vinci Art School in Buenos Aires before advancing his training in cinema production at Utah Valley University.
Starting his career in various roles within the production, camera, and electrical departments, Andres eventually found his true calling in cinematography. He draws inspiration from literature, art, music, and life's everyday moments, infusing his work with a rich, creative perspective.
Andres is in the thriller genre, particularly for his cinematography in Barret Burgin’s films “The Next Door” and “Out of the Ground.” Both films received multiple nominations and awards in the festival circuit, including Best Cinematography nods.
His career has taken him around the globe, allowing him to explore diverse locations and cultures while collaborating with highly skilled artists in the industry. Though his initial focus was on narrative filmmaking, Andres has also made significant contributions in the commercial, corporate, and non-profit sectors as a producer, cinematographer, and editor.
